The wedding day began in the W’s sleek, high-design suites, where Randy and Michael prepared for their walk down the aisle. These rooms, with their floor-to-ceiling windows, offer a photographer’s dream light. There was a beautiful, calm energy in the room, a reflection of a couple who has shared over a decade of memories. Capturing the two of them helping one another with their finishing touches with the help of their dog was a highlight of the morning. These getting-ready portraits felt deeply personal, grounded in the comfort and ease that comes with fourteen years of partnership.

Following their heartfelt ceremony, we headed outside to the Hoboken Waterfront for portraits. The W Hoboken is uniquely situated to offer both the industrial-chic vibe of the pier and the glittering, expansive skyline of New York City.
As we walked along the river, the juxtaposition of the couple's sharp, tailored suits against the blue of the Hudson created a striking, editorial aesthetic. We took advantage of the pier's clean lines and the iconic Manhattan skyline to create a gallery of portraits that felt both grand and incredibly intimate. For Randy and Michael, these photos weren't just about the day, but about celebrating their journey in the city where they’ve grown together.
Intimate Cocktail Reception
The evening transitioned into a spectacular reception at Lulu’s in the W Hoboken. With its modern architectural details and vibrant atmosphere, the space was transformed into a sophisticated lounge environment perfect for a high-end celebration.
The night was filled with deeply moving toasts that touched on their fourteen-year history, followed by a celebration that lived up to the W’s reputation for style and energy. From the first dance to the final toast, the room was overflowing with joy from friends and family who had waited years to see this moment. It was a true honor to document such a significant and stylish chapter of Randy and Michael’s love story!
