Westchester Country Club Wedding
Julianna & Timmy // Rye, NY
There are some venues that instantly set the tone for a wedding day, and Westchester Country Club, a private country club located in Harrison, New York, does exactly that. With its grand classic architecture, sweeping manicured grounds, and timeless old-world elegance, it creates a setting that feels both luxurious and welcoming. It is the kind of place where every corner feels photo-worthy. From the stately exterior to the soft, glowing light that settles over the property in the evening, it was the perfect backdrop for Julianna and Timmy’s June wedding day, a celebration that felt refined, emotional, and completely filled with heart.
From their heartfelt church ceremony to golden hour portraits back at the club, every part of their day felt intentional and beautiful. Before their wedding day even arrived, Timmy had already set the bar high. Julianna told me that Timmy said they were heading to Westchester Country Club to celebrate 100 years of the Giants with his whole family. Totally believable and the perfect cover. But when they arrived, instead of a big family party, they were led into a private room transformed into something straight out of a movie. The space was filled with rose petals and candles arranged in the shape of a heart, and the song “100 Years” was playing in the background. It was romantic, thoughtful, and so personal, a moment designed just for the two of them. That same venue, later becoming part of their wedding day, made everything feel beautifully full circle.
Wedding Morning at Westchester Country Club
Julianna spent the morning getting ready surrounded by her closest friends and family, and the energy in the room was the perfect mix of calm and excitement. She wore a timeless gown with classic lace and romantic details that photographed beautifully from every angle. Those quiet, in-between moments, adjusting the veil, smoothing the dress, sharing a look that says everything, are always some of the most emotional to capture. Because they chose not to do a first look, there was this beautiful sense of anticipation building all morning. They were both just counting down the minutes until the ceremony.
Groom Prep at this Parent’s Westchester Home
Timmy spent the morning getting ready in his childhood home, which added such a meaningful and personal layer to the start of the day. There is something really special about a groom lacing up his shoes and straightening his tie in the place where so many of his own memories began. He was surrounded by his parents, his brother, and his closest friends, and the atmosphere felt relaxed, warm, and full of quiet excitement. Between jokes with his friends and those proud, emotional glances from his parents, you could feel just how big this moment was, not only for Timmy and Julianna, but for the family who had watched him grow into the person he is today.
Ceremony at Resurrection Church in Rye, NY
Their ceremony took place at Resurrection Church in Rye, NY, and it was emotional in the most beautiful, classic way. There is something so powerful about seeing each other for the first time at the altar, and Timmy’s expression when Julianna walked down the aisle was everything. That mix of tears, awe, love, and “I can’t believe I get to marry her” is something you simply cannot stage. The church setting added such a sense of tradition and reverence to the day, and you could feel how meaningful the ceremony was to both of them and their families.
Wedding Portraits at Westchester Country Club
After their church ceremony, we returned to Westchester Country Club, where the grounds gave us the dreamiest setting for portraits. The classic design of the club, paired with the open lawns and soft evening light, created that timeless, editorial feel while still letting Julianna and Timmy’s personalities shine.
After family photos and wedding party portraits, we stole them away for a few quiet minutes together, and golden hour absolutely showed up.
This is always one of my favorite parts of the day. The timeline slows down, the light gets soft and glowy, and couples finally get a moment to just be together. Julianna and Timmy slipped so naturally into each other, laughing, holding hands, those little forehead touches and whispered comments that only they could hear. It felt less like taking photos and more like documenting them exactly as they are.
Tented Reception at Westchester Country Club
Julianna and Timmy’s reception took place under a stunning custom tent at Westchester Country Club, designed to host nearly 300 guests while still feeling elegant and inviting. The space felt magical from the moment you stepped inside, with beautiful lighting, thoughtful design details, and that unmistakable buzz of excitement that comes when everyone is ready to celebrate. It struck the perfect balance between grand and intimate, giving them room for a packed dance floor while still keeping the warmth of the evening. The Hank Lane band brought incredible live energy, filling the tent with music that had guests on their feet all night long and turning the reception into the kind of unforgettable party everyone will be talking about for years.
