Clark's Landing Yacht Club in Point Pleasant, New Jersey is renowned for its breathtaking views and nautical charm, setting the stage for a dreamy summer wedding that epitomized romance and enchantment. With the tranquil waters as the backdrop and the warm breeze, the venue was a perfect place to start the couple's journey forever. This lovely couple first crossed paths while attending a lively 4th of July beach party on the shores of Long Beach Island, thanks to their mutual friends. On their wedding day, they were ready to embrace the charm of the coastal again - this time in Jersey Shore. The festivities commenced in the breathtaking Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel in Asbury Park and culminated in an unforgettable reception at the prestigious Clark’s Landing Yacht Club. Today, I am thrilled to share some of the incredible highlights from their wedding day on the blog, capturing the essence of this unforgettable celebration.
Jessica & Peter Proposal Story
I’m still gushing after Peter and Jessica’s proposal story. Peter was still attending school at Lehigh when they first started dating, so they spent much of their first few years dating in Bethlehem, PA. They loved the charming downtown area with its shops and restaurants on the North side of Bethlehem and still today they frequently go back for weekend trips. A week before Christmas (in 2019), they went for another long weekend trip to see the downtown area all decorated for the holidays (Bethlehem is known as Christmas City USA!). The decor and lights made it feel straight out of a Hallmark Christmas movie. On a walk after dinner, Pete wanted a private place with no one around, so he took them to a little courtyard area where there just so happened to be a giant Christmas tree all lit up. Pete immediately got down on one knee and was about to propose, but Jessica interrupted him since he was kneeling down right next to a garbage can. They laughed and moved over under the Christmas tree where he got back down on his knee and proposed with tears in his eyes. Jessica quickly said YES! After taking a bunch of selfies together, a group of girls walked by and took a few photos for them. They went to a bar for some celebratory drinks and then face-timed their families later that night. So sweet!
Asbury Park Wedding Portraits
The couple got ready at the luxurious Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel, surrounded by breathtaking views of the ocean. Before proceeding to their wedding venue, we decided to make the most of the picturesque surroundings and took some time to capture stunning portraits in front of Asbury Park's most iconic photo backdrop locations. The vibrant murals and historic landmarks provided the perfect backdrop for their photos, adding an extra touch of charm and personality to their special day. Finally, we made our way to the elegant Clarks Landing Yacht Club, where their beautiful ceremony awaited them amidst a backdrop of serene waterfront views.
Jersey Shore Wedding Ceremony
Nestled along the waterfront, Clark's Landing Yacht Club offers a coastal paradise that captivates the heart and soul. Surrounded by serene waters and swaying sailboats, the venue exudes a sense of tranquility and romance, making it the perfect choice for a summer wedding. The salty breeze carried the promise of a new beginning, while the stunning vistas provided an idyllic canvas for the couple's love story to unfold. With delicate white florals and a subtle hint of vibrant greenery, the setting for their ceremony exuded an ethereal charm. Can you imagine a more picturesque setting to exchange your vows? Adorned with clear acrylic chairs that added a modern touch, the ambiance was nothing short of enchanting. One of my personal favorite moments, however, was the delightful dip they took as they made their way back down the aisle. It was pure magic!

Jessica and Peter’s wedding reception at Clark’s Landing Yacht Club was truly outstanding. Every detail was meticulously planned, from the exquisite tall white floral centerpieces adorning the tables to the beautiful classic white linens at every seat. The enchanting chandeliers overhead added a touch of grandeur and as guests arrived, they were greeted with the sight of champagne flutes adorned with luscious strawberries, just waiting to be filled with the finest bubbly.
A summer wedding at Clark's Landing Yacht Club is a celebration of love, coastal beauty, and timeless elegance. With its enchanting waterfront setting and nautical charm, the venue offers the perfect backdrop for a couple's journey forever. Surrounded by the tranquil waters and the warm embrace of their loved ones, the couple's love story sailed on, leaving behind cherished memories that would last a lifetime. Clark's Landing Yacht Club truly provided a dreamy destination where love and romance intertwined, creating a wedding day that will forever hold a special place in the hearts of the newlyweds and their guests.
Last year, their Spring Lake engagement photos revealed just how perfect they looked on the beach. With a love story that began by the shore, it was only fitting that they celebrated their first evening as husband and wife with the same breathtaking view. The reception buzzed with lively conversations, contagious laughter, and abundant love - an incredibly precious and heartwarming thing to witness. The evening ended with a stunning sparkler exit on the beach and then these two danced the night away married!
